College of Alberta School Superintendents (CASS)
The College of Alberta School Superintendents is:
- a legislatively empowered professional body that builds the capacity of system education leaders to ensure optimal learning for all students in the public K – 12 education system.
- a learned body of educators who have proven expertise in classroom teaching and school and school system-based administration.
- a proven partner with the Ministry of Education who assists in providing advice and support for the implementation of Ministerial initiatives.
- supportive of the public interest in education by assuring that its regulated members participate in a Continuing Education Program that addresses Alberta Education’s professional practice standards for system education leaders.
